  • 5 cups Water
  • 5 teaspoons Beef base
  • 1/3 cup Medium barley
  • 1/2 cup Chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup Chopped celery
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Mixed frozen vegetables
  • 3 teaspoon Kitchen bouquet
  • 1 1/2 pound Ground beef
  • 14.5 ounces Canned Diced tomatos

Directions

    Bring water to boil, add beef base and stir.

    Once completely dissolved add barley.
  3. 3
    Chop onion,carrots & celery and add to broth.

    Simmer until barley is cooked.

    Brown ground beef and drain. Added to broth and return to simmer.

    Add kitchen bouquet, tomatos & frozen vegetables bring to boil then simmer.

    Pepper to taste
