- 5 cups Water
- 5 teaspoons Beef base
- 1/3 cup Medium barley
- 1/2 cup Chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup Chopped celery
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 cup Mixed frozen vegetables
- 3 teaspoon Kitchen bouquet
- 1 1/2 pound Ground beef
- 14.5 ounces Canned Diced tomatos
Directions

1Bring water to boil, add beef base and stir.

2Once completely dissolved add barley.

3Chop onion,carrots & celery and add to broth.

4Simmer until barley is cooked.

5Brown ground beef and drain. Added to broth and return to simmer.

6Add kitchen bouquet, tomatos & frozen vegetables bring to boil then simmer.

7Pepper to taste
