Ingredients
- 1 lb. coarsely ground beef, browned and drained
- 3 cups water
- 1 md. onion, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
- 3 tbsp. beef base granules
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup flour
Directions

1Put all ingredients except butter and flour in Crock-Pot.

2Cover.

3Cook on Low 8-12 hours (High: 4-6 hours).

4One hour before serving; turn to High.

5Make a paste of 1/2 cup melted butter and 1/2 cup flour.

6Stir until smooth.

7Pour into Crock-Pot, stir until thickened.
