- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 cups diced onion
- 1 cup diced carrots and celery
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 3 cans (13 3/4 oz. or 14 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
- 1 can (16 oz.) crushed tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. red pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup flour
Directions

1Brown ground beef in a Dutch oven over medium high heat.

2Add onions, carrots, celery and garlic.

3Cook 10 to12 minutes until vegetables are softened.

4Add chicken broth, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper sauce and pepper;

5bring to a boil.

6Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
