- 4 small (3/4-inch) New York strip steaks
- 1 1/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1 c. light soy sauce
- 1 1/2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 1/8 tsp. sesame oil
Directions

1Place steaks in shallow pan.

2Mix together, blending well, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sesame oil.

3Pour over steaks.

4Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight. Turn steaks occasionally.
