- 7 steaks (or 1 round steak, making 4 lb. total)
- 2 cans (6 oz. each) mushroom steak sauce
- 1 c. Sauterne wine
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped pimiento
- 2 tsp. chopped garlic
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tbsp. dried parsley
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 Tbsp. bitters (Peyshaud or Angostura)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. Louisiana hot sauce or 1/2 tsp. Tabasco
Directions

1Heat the cooking oil in a Dutch oven.

2Add the meat and cover with the rest of the ingredients.

3Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and let cook over low heat for 2 to 3 hours.
