- 1 lb. carrots
- butter to taste
Directions

1Wash, scrape and slice carrots in round disc shape.

2Place a 2 to 3-quart size steamer basket in bottom of large cook pot.

3Put enough water in pot so it does not rise above the steamer.

4Add carrots to steamer.

5Cover.

6Cook on high heat for 5 minutes, then turn to low or simmer.

7Carrots are done when tender to touch with fork.

8Cooking time is about 15 to 20 minutes.

9Check often.

10When done, drain and place in serving dish.

11Add butter to taste.

12Stir and serve.
