  • 1 kumu or mullet (1 lb.)
  • 2 slices fresh ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. green onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. shoyu
  • 1/4 tsp. ajinomoto
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • Chinese parsley

Directions

    Place fish and ginger in pot of boiling water (water should cover fish).

    Turn flame off and cover with tight fitting lid. Let stand for 30 minutes or until done.

    Place fish on platter. Sprinkle with finely chopped green onion.
