- 2 c. long grain white rice
- 2 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt (optional)
Directions

1Wash rice until it is clear.

2Put water and rice in pot. Bring to boil; stir with fork.

3Cover tightly.

4Lower heat to lowest level and cook for 15 minutes.

5Cut off heat; leave covered for another 5 minutes.

6Makes 6 servings.
