- 5 lb. peeled potatoes, chopped
- 1 bunch carrots, chopped
- 1 bunch celery, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 to 5 lb. lean stewed beef
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 small can tomato sauce
Directions

1Pour one small can of tomato sauce over top of ingredients. Cook in a large roasting pan, covered.

2Cook for 5 hours at 250°. Remove and stir.

3Serve hot.
