  • 5 lb. peeled potatoes, chopped
  • 1 bunch carrots, chopped
  • 1 bunch celery, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 to 5 lb. lean stewed beef
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small can tomato sauce

Directions

    Pour one small can of tomato sauce over top of ingredients. Cook in a large roasting pan, covered.

    Cook for 5 hours at 250°. Remove and stir.

    Serve hot.
