Stewed cabbage and tomatoes

  • 28 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 stick butter

    Wash the cabbage and tear apart.

    Heat butter in a big pan.

    add cabbage to butter.

    add salt, pepper, and tomatoes

    Simmer, stirring occasionally.

    till cabbage is soft but still with snap.

    Add red wine vinegar just before serving.
