- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 c. stewed tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Soak cod in cold water for 6 to 8 hours.

2Drain.

3Bring cod to boil; drain and taste.

4If too salty, soak in cold water.

5Taste at 15 minute intervals until excess salt is removed.

6Drain and set aside.
