- 1 qt. tomatoes
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 or 1 1/2 slices bread
- fresh or dried parsley to taste

1Fry bacon until crisp in skillet.

2When cooled, crumble in same pan with drippings.

3Add 1 quart tomatoes, onion, parsley and sugar until boiling.
