Stewed Tomatoes With Corn

  • 6 large tomatoes, drop in boiling water 1 minute to remove skins
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1/2 c. celery, diced
  • 1 1/2 c. fresh corn
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Saute celery and onion in butter, quarter and add tomatoes. Add corn, salt, pepper and sugar.

    Simmer 20 minutes, stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
