- 1 lb. beef flank or boneless sirloin
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper (optional)
- 1/2 c. chicken broth (use bouillon)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 16 oz. frozen stir-fry vegetables, thawed
- rice or Chinese noodles
Directions

1Trim fat from beef; cut with grain into 2-inch strips.

2Cut strips across into 1/8-inch slices.

3Toss beef in vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, salt, sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder and pepper.

4Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
