- 1 lb. red crystallized cherries
- 1/2 lb. white crystallized pineapple
- 1/2 lb. green crystallized pineapple
- 3 pt. shelled nuts (you can use mixed nuts, pecans and English walnuts)
- 1/4 lb. raisins
- 1/2 lb. oleo or butter
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. cake spice mix
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add one egg at a time and beat well. Add flour, flavoring and spice.

3Beat well.

4Add fruits and nuts which are chopped coarsely.

5Pour into a large greased pan and bake in 375° oven for 15 minutes.

6Stir; repeat 3 times.

7Have tube cake pan greased and lined with brown paper.

8Pack hot cake mix in it and bake for 15 minutes longer.

9Let stand in pan about 15 minutes before turning out.
