Strawberry Basil Smoothie

  • 2 cups Whole Strawberries, Stems Removed
  • 1 whole Banana
  • 1/4 cups Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 cups Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 5 whole Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon Raw Honey Or Agave Nectar, Or Less According To Taste
  • 2 cups Ice Cubes

Directions

    Add the strawberries, sliced banana, yogurt, and milk of your choice to the pitcher of a large blender. Blend on high speed until smooth. Add lime juice, basil leaves and raw honey or agave to taste. Blend for an additional 10 to 20 seconds.

    Add up to 2 cups ice (use less for a creamier smoothie) and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
