  • 3 cups self rising flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 eggs well beaten
  • 20 ounces strawberries frozen sliced, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/4 cups salad oil
  • red food coloring

Directions

    Combine all dry ingredients; add eggs and oil, stirring only until all ingredients are moistened.

    Stir in strawberries and nuts; add food coloring.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until bread is tested done.

    Let stand overnight before slicing.
