Strawberry Cake

  • 1 Angel food cake
  • 2 small pkgs. frozen strawberries
  • 2 pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1/2 pt. cream (chilled evaporated milk will do)
  • few drops lemon juice (about 1/2 tsp.)

Directions

    Dissolve jello in 1 1/2 c. hot water.

    When cool add strawberries, which have been thawed, and lemon juice.

    Whip cream and add to mixture.
  4. 4
    Put a layer of mixture in bottom of pan. Break cake into small chunks.

    Alternate layers of cake and mixture until all is used.

    Chill.

    Slice and serve with whipped cream.
