Strawberry Cake

  • 1 regular size box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 1/4 oz.) box strawberry Jell-O
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp. flour, mixed with walnuts
  • 1 pt. freshly diced strawberries
  • 1/2 c. sugar, mixed into strawberries

Directions

    Combine cake mix, Jell-O, oil and eggs and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.

    Add strawberries and beat 1 minute more, until well blended.
  3. 3
    Stir in nuts.
  4. 4
    Pour into well greased and floured tube pan.
  5. 5
    Bake 55 to 60 minutes at 350°.

    Cool cake 10 minutes, then turn upside down on rack.
