- 2 cups almonds, toasted, and cut fine
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 qt. strawberries
Directions

1If the almonds aren't already toasted and cut fine, put them in a shallow baking dish at 350F for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally; grind in food processor, but do not grind too fine.

2In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and almonds, then cut in butter as you would for pie crust.

3In another large bowl, mix sugar and cornstarch.

4Then add berries until they're covered.

5In a large casserole dish, press half the crust, then cover with berries, then cover with the remainder of the crust.

6Bake at 450F for 20 minutes.
