Ingredients

  • 1 small angel food cake
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 pt. strawberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 tsp. red food coloring
  • 3 1/2 c. sweet milk
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix

Directions

    Break cake into bite size pieces and place in dish.

    Cream sour cream, cream cheese and softened Cool Whip.

    Beat pudding and milk until smooth and thick.

    Mix with cheese mixture and pour over cake.

    Cover and refrigerate.

    Partially thaw strawberries. Heat in juices very fast with food color and sugar to taste.

    Add enough cornstarch mixed with water, when hot enough, to thicken to medium thickness.

    Remove from heat immediately.

    Completely cool. Pour over cake.

    Keep refrigerated.
