  • 3/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1/2 c. flaked coconut
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Combine sugar, syrup and water.

    Cook to hard ball stage (252°).
  3. 3
    Beat egg whites and gelatin until stiff.
  4. 4
    Pour hot syrup in thin stream into egg whites.
  5. 5
    Beat until candy almost loses gloss.
  6. 6
    Fold in nuts and coconut.
  7. 7
    Spoon into greased pan or drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
