  • 1 c. sugar
  • 6 tsp. cornstarch
  • 4 Tbsp. strawberry jello
  • 2 drops red food coloring
  • 1 qt. strawberries
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust

Directions

    Mix sugar, cornstarch, jello and coloring.

    Add water.

    Stir well and heat to a rolling boil.

    Remove from heat; cool.

    Place the strawberries in pie crust.

    Pour the cooled mixture over berries.

    Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.

    Top with whipped cream.
