  • 1 c. sifted self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil
  • skim milk or buttermilk
  • pinch of soda

Directions

    Mix flour and oil.

    Add milk, enough to make a soft dough.

    I pour this into a 6 x 6-inch baking dish sprayed with Pam.

    You can pour a little melted oleo over. Spread evenly. Bake at 400° until brown. You can also drop by spoonful in pan. Wet spoon with milk and mash flat.
