Name: Strawberry Pie
Ingredients: 3/4 c. sugar; 2 Tbsp. cornstarch; 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup; 1 c. water; 3 Tbsp. strawberry jello; 1 qt. fresh strawberries; 1 (10-inch) baked pie shell; 1 c. whipping cream; 1/4 c. powdered sugar; dash of almond flavoring

2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 (10-inch) baked pie shell
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. powdered sugar
dash of almond flavoring

Directions

Combine sugar, cornstarch, corn syrup and water in saucepan. Bring to boil; cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thickened.

Add gelatin, stirring until dissolved; cool.

Place sliced strawberries in pie shell.

Pour gelatin mixture over all. Stand strawberries (same size) with stems attached around pie crust.

Serve with whipped cream.
