  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
  • 1 c. water
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp. red food coloring
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O mix
  • 1 qt. cleaned strawberries
  • 1 baked pie shell

Directions

    Put cleaned strawberries in baked pie shell.

    Add first 6 ingredients together in a saucepan.

    Cook over medium-high heat until thick; set aside to cool.

    Add the rest of the ingredients and pour over strawberries.

    Let set about 1 hour in refrigerator before serving.
