  • 1 baked pie shell or graham cracker shell
  • 1 pt. strawberries, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • whipped cream, if desired

Directions

    Combine in saucepan the water, sugar and cornstarch.

    Cook until thick.

    Add to thickened mixture the strawberry Jell-O. Place berries in pie shell.

    Pour thickened mixture over berries. Chill until set.

    Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
