  • 1 qt. strawberries
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 small pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar

Directions

    Mash half of strawberries and put in heavy pan with sugar combined with cornstarch, butter and lemon juice.

    Cook until thick and clear.

    Mix cream cheese with milk and powdered sugar and spread over baked pie shell.
  4. 4
    Put rest of berries on cheese. Spread cooked mixture on this.

    Chill for 2 hours.
