  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 pt. hulled strawberries

    Blend flour, margarine and confectioners sugar.

    Press in pie pan.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Cool.

    Place 1 pint of strawberries in pie crust.

    To the other pint of strawberries, add the sugar and cornstarch.

    Boil until clear and thick.

    Pour over berries.

    Cool and top with whipped cream, if desired.
