  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. milk or cream

Directions

    Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter.

    Mix egg and milk; add to other ingredients.

    Knead for a few minutes. Put in well buttered 8-inch pan. Bake at 400° for 12 minutes. Serve with lots of strawberries.
