- 500 g runner beans, halved
- 4 tbsp flour
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- 3 None eggs
- 1 litre oil for deep frying
Directions

1Cook the beans in boiling salted water for 5 mins. Drain them and rinse them in cold water.

2Put the flour and breadcrumbs on separate plates and beat the eggs. Dip the beans one at a time, first in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the breadcrumbs. Fry them in batches in hot oil for about 2 mins until golden brown. Lift them out with a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels.
