Ingredients

  • 2 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
  • 4 Tbsp. oleo or cooking oil
  • 1/2 can water (soup can)
  • 4 oz. can mushrooms
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 4 c. cooked noodles

Directions

    Brown steak and onions in butter.

    Add 1/2 cup water and simmer over low heat 45 minutes.

    Add soup and simmer 15 minutes more.

    Add sour cream and mushrooms and heat through until boiling. Serve over noodles.
