Ingredients

  • 3 whole chicken breasts
  • 1 stalk celery tops
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef (meat loaf mixture)
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. grated onion
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 pkg. carrots and peas
  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 1 small can chopped pimento
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • dash of cayenne
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen shrimp

Directions

    Cook chicken breasts (halved) with 4 cups water, the tops from a full stalk of celery and 2 1/2 teaspoons salt for about 30 minutes or until tender.

    Remove the chicken.

    Cool, skin and cut into chunks.

    Reserve broth.
