  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 1/2 lb. chopped meat
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes without juice
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 pepper, chopped
  • 4 oz. Mozzarella
  • garlic

Directions

    Brown meat, pepper and onion in 2 tablespoons oil with garlic. Add tomatoes.

    Drain all liquid so mixture is very dry.

    Flatten out crescent rolls into 1 sheet, mush seams together so there are no holes.

    Place meat and vegetable mixture on one half and bring other side over.

    Press edges together.

    Cook 35 minutes at 350° until crust is golden brown.

    Serves 2 adults and 1 to 2 children. Repeat recipe to make more Strombolis as needed.
