  • 1 can beans (your choice)
  • pasta sauce
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • bread crumbs or crackers
  • vegetable oil
  • lettuce
  • cheese (optional)
  • hamburger condiments (ketchup, mustard, pickles, etc.)
  • bread

Directions

    Drain juice from beans and crush in mixing bowl.

    When beans are mashed into a paste, add sauce, diced green pepper and diced onion.

    Add bread crumbs or crushed crackers until mixture can be formed into patties.

    Heat 1/8 cup oil in pan; grill patties. Sandwich patty with desired toppings and serve.
