- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1/4 head coarsely chopped cabbage
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
- 6 to 8 slices American cheese
Directions

1Place ground beef in an 11-inch stove top pan or electric skillet, pressing to cover bottom of pan.

2Spread vegetables over meat.

3Pour soup over mixture and place cheese slices on top.

4Add salt and pepper.

5Cover skillet.

6Start with medium-high heat. When mixture starts to steam, turn to low and cook 20 to 25 minutes.

7Serve immediately.
