- 6 medium sized baking apples
- 3/4 c. raisins
- 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
- apple juice
- 3 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Core apples; pare a thin slice of peel from the stem end.

3Place apples, pared side up, in a shallow 2-quart baking pan.

4In a small bowl, combine raisins, walnuts, 3 tablespoons apple juice and 3 teaspoons of cinnamon.

5Spoon an equal amount of mixture into apple cavities.

6Combine 1 cup apple juice and remaining 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.

7Pour over apples. Dot tops with butter.

8Bake, covered, until apples are tender, 30 to 40 minutes.
