- 1 lb. ground beef or lamb (include both fat and lean)
- 1 c. rice (uncooked)
- 1 medium size cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- pepper
- cinnamon to taste
Directions

1Add rice, salt, pepper and cinnamon to meat and mix well.

2Boil cabbage for 2 minutes after separating each leaf.

3Cut the leaf into 2 pieces; stuff each with the meat and rice and roll into small firm rolls.

4Arrange the rolls in a cooking pot, adding water, 1 tablespoon salt and the tomato paste; cover and cook for 30 minutes.
