- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. partially cooked rice
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can water
- salt and pepper
- bacon strips (optional)
Directions

1Wilt cabbage leaves in boiling water. Cool.

2Mix all ingredients except soup and water.

3Fill leaves.

4Roll and secure with toothpicks, if necessary.

5Place in roasting pan.

6Mix soup and water; pour over cabbage rolls.

7Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
