Stuffed Cabbage Leaves

Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. cooked rice
- 1 egg
- 1 small can sauerkraut
- 1 small can tomato juice
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
Directions

1Core cabbage and parboil 20 minutes in a covered kettle.

2Set aside to cool.

3Combine ground beef, rice, egg and onion.

4Season with salt and pepper.

5Separate cabbage leaves.

6Stuff meat mixture in cabbage leaf and roll up.

7Spread sauerkraut on bottom of Dutch oven, then place layers of cabbage rolls on sauerkraut. Pour tomato juice over all.

8Cover and cook 2 hours at 300°.
