Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. cooked onion
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 can tomato soup
Directions

1Cook cabbage leaves in boiling salt water a few minutes to soften; drain.

2Combine beef, rice, onion, egg, salt and pepper with 2 tablespoons of tomato soup.

3Divide meat mixture among the cabbage leaves, roll and secure with toothpicks.

4Place cabbage rolls in baking dish.

5Baste with remaining soup.

6Cover and bake, spooning sauce over rolls occasionally.

7Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
