- 12 cabbage leaves
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
- 4 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Separate cabbage leaves from head by removing core and cover cabbage with cold water.

2Let stand about 10 minutes; remove leaves. Cover cabbage leaves with boiling water.

3Cover and let stand until leaves are limp, about 10 minutes.

4Remove leaves; drain.
