Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

- 12 medium-size cabbage leaves
- 1 1/2 c. cooked ground beef
- 1 onion, grated
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 c. tomato juice
Directions

1Cook cabbage leaves for 3 minutes in boiling, salted water. Drain; dry.

2Combine ground beef, onion, rice and seasonings.

3Put about 1/4 cup on each cabbage leaf.

4Roll and fasten with wooden toothpick.

5Place rolls close together in greased baking dish. Brush rolls with butter and pour tomato juice over them.

6Bake in moderate oven at 375° until cabbage leaves are tender, about 15 minutes.

7Remove wooden picks before serving.
