Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

- 2 lb. ground lamb or hamburger
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 large onion
- 1 large can tomatoes
- garlic salt to taste
- 1 large (3 lb.) cabbage
Directions

1Core cabbage; cook until cabbage is almost soft.

2Combine meat, rice, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.

3Remove individual cabbage leaves.

4Place 1 1/2 tablespoons of meat mixture at the top of the leaf.

5Roll leaf up, tucking in sides.

6Place cabbage rolls in a roasting dish.

7Add tomatoes; cover and cook in a 350° oven for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

8You may wish to add more tomatoes or a little water if needed.
