- 13 cup whipped cream cheese
- 12 teaspoon dry hidden valley ranch dressing mix
- 6 large button mushrooms
- 1 cup bleached all purpose flour
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 12 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 12 cup milk
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Directions

1Combine cream cheese and dressing mix.

2Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes.

3Clean mushrooms and remove stems.

4When cheese has rested, use a teaspoon to fill mushroom caps.

5Combine flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.

6Pour milk into another small bowl.

7Dip mushroom first in milk and then in flour.

8Do this twice.

9Put coated mushroom into the freezer for at least 3 hours.

10When mushrooms are frozen, heat oil in a deep fryer to 350 degrees F.

11Use enough oil to cover mushrooms completely.

12Fry for 8 to 10 minutes until golden.

13Drain.

14Let sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
