Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, coarsely grated
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper
- 18 giant shells
- 2 lb. jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 c. Italian dry style bread crumbs
Directions

1Brown ground chuck, onion and garlic until crumbly.

2Drain excess fat and cool.

3Stir in cheese, parsley, bread crumbs and egg.

4Season to taste with salt and pepper.

5Cook shells in boiling salt water until almost tender (approximately 15 minutes).

6Drain and stuff with meat mixture.

7Spoon 1/4 of sauce into bottom of 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan.

8Put in stuffed shells, side by side.

9Pour remaining sauce over shells.

10Sprinkle with cheese.

11Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes until brown and bubbly.

12Serve with more Parmesan.
