Stuffed Mushrooms

  • 12 to 18 large mushrooms with stems
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion

Directions

    Carefully remove stems from mushrooms leaving cap in tact. Peel each mushroom and set aside.

    Finely chop the stems.
  3. 3
    Saute stems and onion in margarine about 10 minutes, turn off heat and let cool.

    Stir in egg and bread crumbs until mixture is stiff but not dry.
  5. 5
    Fill each mushroom cap and bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
