Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 1 lb. medium mushrooms
- 1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
Directions

1Wash mushrooms and remove stems.

2Finely chop stems, onions and peppers.

3In large skillet with 3 tablespoons butter, saute stems, onions and peppers.

4Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. Add bread crumbs and spices to skillet mixture.

5Stir together; remove from heat.

6Put 1 teaspoon of mixture in each mushroom cap. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 350°.

7Serve warm.
