Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 2 lb. large white mushrooms
- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, minced
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb. ground sausage
Directions

1Rinse and dry mushrooms.

2Remove stems.

3Set the caps aside and mince the stems.

4Melt the butter in a large skillet and add the onions and mushroom stems.

5Add the sausage and saute until the onions are soft and the sausage is browned.

6Place in a large bowl and add the remaining ingredients except for mushroom caps; blend well.

7Place the caps on a lightly greased baking pan and stuff with the sausage mixture.

8Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
