- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. Italian flavored bread crumbs
- 1 c. extra sharp Cheddar, grated (don't pack cheese in cup)
Directions

1Wash and dry mushrooms on paper towels.

2Remove and chop stems.

3Fry stems in olive oil in a nonstick fry pan.

4When stems are sauteed, add and stir in bread crumbs; add cheese.

5Cool a little for handling and with a teaspoon fill the mushroom cavities with bread crumb mixture.

6Place stuffed mushrooms in a baking dish and bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until browned.
